What Axiom Finance does on Bitget
The Bitget adapter handles authentication, symbol filters, order placement and status reconciliation. Order status is read back from Bitget rather than assumed, so a rejected order is recorded as rejected instead of being logged as a fill.
How to connect Bitget step by step
- Create a Bitget API key with trading enabled and withdrawals disabled, then add it to your encrypted Axiom Finance vault.
- Pick the BTC/USDT market and configure a strategy — grid, breakout, funding fade or your own indicator rules.
- Backtest it, then run rolling walk-forward validation. If the strategy only worked on the data it was tuned on, the verdict says so.
- Run it in paper mode against live prices. Promote it to live capital only once you have seen how it behaves — and start small.
Markets you can automate on Bitget
Availability depends on your region and on Bitget's current listings. Axiom Finance reads the live symbol list from your connected account, so the platform follows the venue rather than a hardcoded table.
Bitget: common questions
Is it safe to connect my Bitget account?
Create the key with trading permission only, leave withdrawals disabled, and restrict it by IP if Bitget supports that. Credentials are stored encrypted and are only decrypted to sign a request. Never share a wallet seed phrase or private key with any trading platform, including this one.
Which Bitget markets can Axiom Finance trade?
The adapter reads the live symbol list from your connected account, so it follows whatever Bitget currently lists in your region rather than a table we maintain by hand.
What happens if Bitget rejects an order?
The rejection is read back from Bitget and recorded as a rejection. Order status is parsed from the venue's own response rather than assumed to be filled, so your trade history and analytics do not count failed orders as executed ones.

Axiom Finance is trading software, not financial advice, and we do not promise returns. Backtests are hypothetical and past performance does not predict future results. Market availability, order types, API permissions and listings depend on your exchange and jurisdiction and change without notice.
